Work is underway at the University of Silesia on a new study model that will cover all undergraduate, engineering and single master’s degree programmes. The aim is to fundamentally restructure the shape of studies.
The new educational concept is being prepared by a multi-member team under the patronage of the university’s rector, Prof. Ryszard Koziołek. The team is made up of university employees representing all faculties, administrative units responsible for organising teaching and representatives of the student government.
The team members are convinced of the need to significantly change the way students are educated, both because of the rapidly changing status of knowledge and the need to differentiate education at the University of Silesia from that offered by other universities in the best possible way. The new model applies to undergraduate, engineering and single master’s degree education”.
