The University of Southern Denmark (Syddansk Universitet, SDU) has become the new, ninth member of the European university EPICUR, where the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań also belongs. Thus, EPICUR will expand by 27,000. students and nearly 4 thousand employees.

– Joining the EPICUR alliance means playing a leading role in the future of European education and research. Nine universities will be able to benefit significantly from their mutual involvement in the continuous development of the project – says SDU rector, Jens Ringsmose.

The EPICUR consortium includes the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands), the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), University of Freiburg and Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (Germany), University of Haute-Alsace and University of Strasbourg (France), University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna (Austria) and the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań.
