University of Szczecin modernizing its premises

13.10.2021

The University of Szczecin will rebuild and modernize two buildings on the campus at al. Piastów. One of them is used by the law and administration department, and the other by the university’s humanities department. The value of the investment is almost PLN 16 million, of which over PLN 8.3 million is co-financed by the City of Szczecin, under the Government Fund for Local Investments.

The buildings will be comprehensively rebuilt, and the lecture halls will be modernized and adapted to the needs of people with physical disabilities. This is another investment of the university as currently, it is completing Simulation Room with a VR simulator for people with special needs at the Faculty of Law and Administration.

– I am glad that the city of Szczecin could get involved in this project. Thanks to the constructive support of the City Council, we were able to submit such an application to the government program. Szczecin may not do without universities, education and students. This makes us happy and cheers us up – says the mayor of Szczecin, Piotr Krzystek.
