Nataniel Wypych, a student at the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Management at the University of Szczecin, won first place in the bachelor’s thesis category in the WSE and Stock Exchange Foundation competition for the best bachelor’s and master’s thesis.

The competition jury recognised him for his thesis “The impact of the announcement on the appointment of the CEO on the rates of return of companies listed on the WSE between 2000 and 2016. 

The aim of the competition is to encourage students to broaden their knowledge of the capital market, the institutions that make up its infrastructure, and listed financial instruments. The submitted works were evaluated by the Competition Chapter consisting of ten members, representatives of the academic community. The main criteria taken into account were the level of content, and in particular the originality, method of analysing the phenomena, scope of research and innovativeness of the formulated conclusions.
