The Department of Science and External Cooperation, the International Exchange Center and the student government of the University of Technology and Humanities in Bielsko-Biała are implementing a project regarding the social responsibility of the university.

The partners of the Academy in the project are the Czech Technical University of Ostrava, the Slovak Alexander Dubcek University of Trencín and the Hungarian Szent István University. The project is financed from the Visegrad Fund and targets to draw attention to the involvement in social actions.

The project will last until July 2019. Its purpose is to exchange experience in conducting activities that promote the shaping of social and civic attitudes, collect ideas and create a handbook that inspires further social initiatives. The project will end with conferences in all four countries, where the idea of social responsibility will be spread among the local communities.
