The University of Technology and Industry in Bydgoszcz is a member of the AGRICORE Project consortium – an international research project whose goal is to develop a modern agent modeling tool for shaping agricultural policy.

The AGRICORE aim will be a working out a modular and configurable IT solution package for farmers that will be available as Open Source software. The AGRICORE team will develop a product based on agent modeling, which is an autonomous decision-making tool closely related to individual farms. The advantage of this approach is that individuals can evaluate their activities individually and support decision making.

The consortium consists of  5 companies, 4 universities and a research institute from 6 countries. AGRICORE is a sustainable project connecting industry with the academic community.
