University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz launches a project under Horizon program

10.02.2021

Researchers of the Faculty of Animal Breeding and Biology of the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz have started the project “MonoGutHealth – Training and research for sustainable solutions to support and sustain gut health and reduce losses in monogastric livestock”.

The project is realized under the Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie International Training Networks program. Eleven early-stage researchers will conduct comprehensive and industry-relevant, interdisciplinary research that will provide new knowledge, innovative technologies and tools for the production of resistant pigs and chickens – two economically most important species livestock around the world.

The research will be carried out in Bydgoszcz, at Agroscope Switzerland, in Teagasc Ireland, at the University of Aarhus in Denmark and at the University of Liege in Belgium.
