The H. Klimontowicz Specialist Hospital in Gorlice has signed a cooperation agreement with the University of the Commission of National Education (UKEN) in Kraków. “This is another important step for our university in its work to launch medical studies,” stressed the Vice-Chancellor for Education and Development, Dr Robert Stawarz, Professor UKEN.
The agreement was signed by the director of the hospital, Marian Świerz, and UKEN Vice-Rector for Education and Development Dr Robert Stawarz, Professor at UKEN. Its scope envisages cooperation in connection with the work being carried out by the University of the Commission of National Education in Kraków to build an Institute of Health Sciences and an Institute of Medical Sciences, and the planned launch of studies in this field.
The hospital in Gorlice has excellent facilities in the form of various wards and a prosectorium. “This will be an excellent place for our students to acquire practical knowledge,” said the Vice-Chancellor for Education and Development at UKEN in Kraków.
