The University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn has signed a cooperation agreement with the Ternopil National University of Economics (TNEU). In addition to scientific and didactic cooperation, the agreement also assumes plans to exchange students under the Erasmus + program and a course – School of Ukrainian Law.
The Ukrainian university cooperates with 17 countries of the European Union, as well as partners from Georgia, Canada, USA, China, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Moldova. It ranks the fifth among Ukrainian universities in the GreenMetric World University Rankings 2019. Employees of the Ternopil University participate in ICEA (The International Cultural-Educational Association) programs.
-We also want to expand our cooperation under the Erasmus + program, because the interest of student exchange is visible on both sides. The School of Polish and European Law has been operating at the Faculty of Law of TNEU since 1999. The arrival of students from Ukraine will allow them to learn better the specifics of Polish law. In turn, at our faculty we are planning to run a course – School of Ukrainian Law – emphasizes Fr. Prof. M. Różański.
