The conference “Africa in languages – languages in Africa” under African Days is organized at the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn. This international scientific conference will be held on June 23, 2020 online.

-This year, due to the situation of pandemic around the world, we had to change the form of the conference. We’ve decided that it will take place online on June 23. It will last one day and it will be for free – said Dr Bara Ndiaye, Chairman of the Organizing Committee.

The scientists will discuss following issues: African languages; Official languages in Africa. Literacy of languages in Africa; African languages and translation aspects; African languages and intercultural communication; Historical discourse on Africa; Anthropological and ethnological discourse on Africa; Political discourse on Africa; Media discourse on Africa; Economic discourse on Africa and Scientific discourse on Africa.
