The University of Warsaw (UW) joined EIT Health – the Knowledge and Education Community in innovation in medicine and health protection. The partnership assumes activities under the so-called knowledge triangle, based on education, research and the creation of innovation.

EIT Health is part of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology – an EU institution tasked with creating an environment conducive to innovation and entrepreneurship in Europe.

EIT Health includes over 150 universities, institutions and companies in Europe: Sorbonne University, University of Heidelberg, University of Ghent, the University of Technology in Delft, GE Healthcare, Karolinska Institute, Astra Zeneca, Roche, Sanofi, Siemens or Philips.

EIT Health’s partner institutions create joint projects that are tested and implemented within health systems.
