The Department of Social Policy and Insurance of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies of the University of Warsaw is inviting participants to three seminars titled “Society and social policy in an extraordinary crisis situation on the example of the COVID-19 pandemic.” 

The seminars are aimed at identifying the main niches and the potential for research into the functioning of society and social policy in a crisis situation.

The COVID-19 pandemic serves as an example of such a situation, which can bring more general socio-political mechanisms in crisis circumstances. The seminars will serve, on the one hand, for a synthetic summary of the existing data, and on the other hand to inspire further research on the above-mentioned topic, which is its main intention.

The seminars will be held on June 18, 25 and 30, 2021 via the ZOOM platform.
