University of Warsaw to launch a network of mobile laboratories

The goals of the project “Digital research infrastructure for the humanities and art sciences DARIAH-PL”, which will be implemented at the European Center for Geological Education (ECEG) of the University of Warsaw in Chęciny include creation of a network of innovative, mobile research laboratories at the University of Warsaw (UW).

The DARIAH-PL consortium coordinated by the University of Warsaw received PLN 100 million for the project under the Smart Development Operational Program.

Part of the DARIAH-PL project implemented by the University of Warsaw will be located at ECEG UW in Chęciny. The University, as the coordinator of DARIAH-PL, takes part in the project in the discipline of “geoarcheology” as part of the cooperation between the Faculty of Archeology of the University of Warsaw, the Faculty of Geology of the University of Warsaw and the Digital Competence Center of the University of Warsaw.

The leader of the project “Digital research infrastructure for the humanities and art sciences DARIAH-PL” is the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center.
