University of Warsaw to launch new courses

In the academic year 2021/2022, the University of Warsaw (UW) is launching new BA and MA majors of Radio Chemistry and Radiopharmaceuticals, Nanoengineering, or Machine Learning and Religions of Asia and Africa: Buddhism, Islam and Others, conducted in English.

Application process for BA and MA studies at the University of Warsaw will start on June 7, 2021. The new proposals of the University of Warsaw include: Radio Chemistry and Radiopharmaceuticals – studies at the Faculty of Chemistry. Students will learn how to use modern research equipment, such as: HPGetak detector, HPLC chromatograph, IR spectrometer or potentiostat / galvanostat. The obligatory subjects will include classes in dosimetry and radiological protection, as well as nuclear and radiation chemistry.

Nanoengineering is an engineering study conducted by the Faculty of Physics in cooperation with the Faculty of Chemistry. It deals with the challenges faced by modern technology in the field of research and use of new materials and quantum technologies.

Machine Learning is an English-language course at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics. In addition to the basics of machine learning, students learn about the latest discoveries in the field of mathematics and computer science.

The study Religions of Asia and Africa: Buddhism, Islam and Others is conducted in English at the Faculty of Oriental Studies. It will allow to learn about the most important pan-Asian religions of the East.
