The University of Warsaw won the ranking of law faculties of the “Rzeczpospolita” newspaper in the category of public universities. The first place among non-public universities was taken by the Kozminski University in Warsaw.
Among public universities, the University of Warsaw received 23.77 points, the Jagiellonian University in Kraków took the second position, with 22.57 points. The third place was taken by the University of Wrocław with 21.23 points.
In the category of non-public universities, the first three positions were taken by: the Kozminski University in Warsaw – 20.02 points, the Łazarski University in Warsaw – 18.72 points and SWPS University of Humanities and Social Sciences in Warsaw – 17.19 points.
There are currently over 35.4 thousand law MA students in Poland, of which over 19% attend private universities. It is much more difficult to get into a state university: on average, there are 2.9 people per place, while for a non-public university this indicator is 1.7 people.
