The University of Wrocław has been rated second in Poland in the world ranking of university education, RankPro. The ranking assesses the elements influencing the level of education.

On a European scale, the University of Wrocław was ranked 224th. In Poland only the University of Warsaw ranks higher than the Wrocław university. Globally, the University of Warsaw was ranked 247 and the University of Wrocław – 441. The world top three high schools include the University of Cambridge, the American Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Yale University.

RankPro does not take into account the number of citations and publications, but is based on indicators proving the level of education. They include the number of students in relation to the number of academic lecturers, study programs, the percentage of professors in relation to the entire staff, and even the number of Nobel laureates or the size of library resources.
