State Higher Vocational School of Applied Sciences in Chełm launched the Monoprofiled Medical Simulation Center

Dr Eng. Arkadiusz Tofil, rector of the State Higher Vocational School (PWSZ) in Chełm, has opened the Monoprofile Medical Simulation Center of the PWSZ in Chełm. It is a new investment of the university increasing the quality of education in the field of practical skills.      

The center is part of the Institute of Medical Sciences of the State University of Applied Sciences. The new Center includes a high-fidelity simulation room, a room for conducting ALS cardiopulmonary resuscitation, room to carry out BLS cardiopulmonary resuscitation, rooms for exercise nursing skills, exercise technical skills, control room and hall OSCE examination. Nursing laboratories are equipped with technologically advanced patient simulators, the latest medical equipment and an audio-video system for recording simulation sessions.

The monoprofiled Medical Simulation Center has been launched as part of the project “New quality of practical education in the field of nursing” co-financed by the European Social Fund. The cost of the investment is over PLN 2.5 ml.
