The Institute of Economic Sciences is cordially inviting participants to the 20th anniversary of economics at the University of Wrocław. On this occasion, on Friday, May 7, it will hold an online conference entitled “Quo vadis oeconomia?”.

This event will be an opportunity not only to remember and celebrate the jubilee. The organizers also want to discuss the future and desired directions for the development of economics as a scientific discipline in the context of the current reform of higher education in Poland.

The conference will include four panels led by eminent specialists – representatives of the scientific community and practitioners. The discussion issues will include the problems of improving the quality of education, increasing the attractiveness of the didactic offer, raising the level of scientific research and developing the research and teaching staff, improving the conditions of education and research, e.g. by developing relations with the environment that strengthen the position of graduates on the labour market.
