A delegation from Hong Duc University in Vietnam visited the University of Zielona Góra (UZ). After Paris and Berlin, Zielona Góra was one of three European stops where representatives of the Vietnamese university stayed. The purpose of their trip to Europe was to visit key partners.
During the visit, the rectors of both universities – Prof. Dung Bui Van and Prof. Wojciech Strzyżewski – extended the cooperation agreement between Hong Duc University and the University of Zielona Góra for another five years. The agreement extends the possibilities of cooperation to include pedagogy, economics and computer science.
Signed five years ago, the first agreement, apart from the exchange of staff and students under the ERASMUS+ Programme, provided primarily for cooperation in the field of physics. It has resulted, among other things, in four doctorates for young Vietnamese scientists in physics written and defended at the University of Zielona Góra, as well as numerous staff and student mobilities under the European Erasmus+ programme.
