The Institute of Civil Engineering of the University of Zielona Góra is inviting participants to an open lecture on 4 March delivered by Prof. Alina Maciejewska entitled “Revitalization of degraded areas and its importance in rational space management”.

Professor Alina Maciejewska, expert in soil environment engineering, soil science, degraded land is an author or co-author of over 200 scientific papers. Her scientific research concerns: chemical degradation of soils, recultivation and management of degraded land, analysis of natural conditions in spatial management, environmental management in the area of municipalities, revitalization of degraded areas.

The lecture is part of a series of open meetings organized by the Institute of Building Engineering in the 2019/2020 academic year, supporting knowledge sharing in relation to the fields of study: geoinformatics and satellite techniques, construction and environmental engineering.
