The Foundation for Polish Science is organising the seventh expert debate in the series “Let’s trust science”. The next meeting “Vaccines for cancer. Dreams or reality?” will be held on 29 November at 12.00 and will be broadcast online.

The discussion will bring together prominent scientists and doctors to discuss existing cancer vaccines and the prospects of creating new ones in light of the latest scientific research.  

The experts will address the following questions: What have COVID mRNA vaccines taught us in the context of cancer vaccines? Why are mRNA-based vaccines considered safer than DNA-based vaccines? How can we improve mRNA vaccines? What is the efficacy of peptide vaccines for the treatment of certain leukaemias or other cancers?

The meeting will be chaired by Prof. Maciej Żylicz, biochemist, molecular biologist, president of the Foundation for Polish Science, and editor Krzysztof Michalski.
