Different scenarios for the recognition of satellite and aerial images, Scenarios for selective plant protection and Recognition on film of human behaviour are three topics in the 6th INFOSTRATEG competition of the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR).
NCBR will subsidise projects in these three areas. The call for applications will be held from 7 April to 9 June this year. The budget provided for supporting innovative solutions is PLN 70 million.
The 6th INFOSTRATEG competition for thematic projects is open to individual applicants – scientific units or entrepreneurs, as well as consortia consisting of no more than three entities: exclusively scientific units; exclusively enterprises; scientific units and enterprises.
Poland has significant research potential in the field of artificial intelligence, and we want to activate it on the market, i.e. translate it into specific products or services. “This competition is a great chance, but also a challenge for scientists and entrepreneurs who are passionate about using artificial intelligence algorithms and ICT technologies to solve socially and economically important problems”, said Dr Jacek Orzeł, acting director of NCBR.
