Visegrad Group to hold a conference on Earth Observation

The Office for the Promotion of Science PolSCA of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Czech Liaison Office for Research, Development and Innovation (CZELO), the National Office for Research, Development and Innovation in Hungary (NRDIO) and the Slovak Liaison Office for Research and Development (SLORD) фку organizing on 29 June 2021 “V4Conference2021. Earth Observations for citizens and the planet – V4 perspective on R & I contributions to the Copernicus program”, which will bring together professionals committed to research and innovation in Earth observation. 

Participants of the event will learn about the European strategy for the use of products and services in the satellite Earth observation, which is necessary to support economic transformation, change the behavior of Europeans and protect our planet. The conference will also provide a forum to discuss the key role of research and development in the European Copernicus program.

One of the speakers in the session on successes in the satellite Earth observation will be Dr Ewelina Wójcik from the Space Research Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw.

The conference will be held entirely in English and is open to anyone interested in the topic.
