Researchers from the Voxel Research Lab at the Institute of Mechatronics and Information Systems at the Technical University of Lodz have received EUR 400,000 in funding as part of the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships for Higher Education competition.

Their project ‘XR escape room – soft skills training for the modern learner’ received 90 points out of a possible 100 and was among only five entries, in its category, qualified for funding in Poland.

It will be carried out jointly with the Italian University of Trento, the Estonian University of Tartu, the Bosnian University of Sarajevo and the Polish technology partner MISSIONONE. The project is coordinated by the Technical University of Lodz.

“We are embarking on a fascinating journey into the field of ‘XR escape room’, and want to educate new participants in soft skills. This is yet another European project under the wing of Dr Dorota Kamińska. Thank you for your support and enthusiasm”, said Dr Grzegorz Zwoliński, a member of the team working at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science and Automation.
