Warsaw Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University to hold the scientific conference ‘Modern technologies in law. Theory and practice’

The Scientific Club of Criminal Procedural Law of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw is organizing the National Scientific Conference “Modern technologies in law. Theory and practice”. The event will take place on January 8, 2020 at the Auditorium Maximum UKSW.

The aim of the conference is to analyze legal regulations regarding new technologies.

Recently, a significant increase in the use of new technologies and their impact on human life should be observed. New technologies will affect socio-economic development. They can be used in many areas of life. Their introduction creates many opportunities and allows people to increase their efficiency and availability of services.

New technologies can also be a threat. The intensity of introduced changes and technological progress mean that the legislator is currently facing normative challenges in the aspect of new technologies. The conference proceedings will be an opportunity to reflect on the prospect of further development of legal regulations in this area.
