On December 18, 2019, the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) in Warsaw together with the Warsaw local administration organized a conference to eliminate all forms of discrimination against women.

The conference was opened by the mayor of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski, Vice-Rector for cooperation with the SGH environment Prof. Hanna Godlewska-Majkowska and the Ombudsman Adam Bodnar.

The discussion at the conference focused on three thematic areas: research results on leveling the wage gap in Poland and worldwide; good practices in the field of equalizing opportunities implemented in companies associated with the SGH Partner Club, i.e. Ernst & Young, Bank Millennium, Mastercard Europe, Santander; women’s participation in public life – achievements and challenges in the assessment of the Ombudsman’s Office.
