Warsaw School of Economics to hold a conference about managing green infrastructure

The Department of Public Policy of the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) is inviting participants to the online seminar “Green infrastructure management as a challenge for urban development policy”, which will be held on June 16, 2021 from 16.00-18.00.

During the seminar, the National Science Center will present the preliminary results of research “Assessment of the condition and importance of green infrastructure as a natural and social resource of small and medium-sized cities in Poland”.

The organizers are planning the following speeches:

Green infrastructure – old wine in a new bottle by Prof. Barbara Szulczewska, Institute of Cities and Regions Development;

Legal tools for green infrastructure management – Dr Maciej Nowak, West Pomeranian University of Technology;

Green infrastructure as an element of spatial policy – Dr Renata Giedych, Warsaw University of Life Sciences;

Participation in managing green infrastructure – good practices – Dr Paulina Legutko-Kobus, Warsaw School of Economics.

After each speech, participants will have an opportunity to ask questions, and after all speeches, there will be a discussion moderated by Prof. Andrzej Zybała, head of the Department of Public Policy at the Warsaw School of Economics.
