Warsaw School of Economics to hold a conference on migration in the European Union

The Department of Political Studies of the Economic and Social College of the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Poland and Research Committee 46 – Migration and Citizenship International Political Science Association (IPSA) are organizing on March 26, 2019 the EUMIGRO conference under the slogan “Migration and integration in the European Union – facts, numbers, challenges and political reactions.”

The conference received the Honorary Patronage of the European Commission Representation in Poland. It is organized as part of the EUMIGRO project – “Jean Monnet Module on the European Union and the Contemporary International Migration – an Interdisciplinary Approach”, which is implemented at SGH with co-financing of the European Union under the Erasmus Program.

The main objective of the EUMIGRO project is to promote research and expand SGH teaching offer with new subjects that cover the current and important issues of migration and asylum in Europe in a holistic, innovative and multidimensional way.
