On the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the Warsaw School of Life Sciences (SGGW) is inviting all those interested in history and agriculture to hear a lecture by Dr Maria Cieśla from the Szymon An-ski Association.

The topic of the meeting will be a presentation of Jewish agriculture in pre-war Warsaw, based on the engineering work of Munisz Szajnbok titled ‘A farm in Grochów near Warsaw for the horticultural and agricultural preparation of Jewish youth emigrating to Palestine’, which is held in the resources of the SGGW.

The meeting will take place on 19 April 2023 at 15:00 in the conference room of the SGGW Main Library. The lecture will be accompanied by a display of pre-war photographs of the Jewish agricultural farm in Grochów, also known as Kibbutz Grochów.
