Warsaw students to develop an electric racing car

18.04.2018

Team Proton Dynamic was established in October 2017. It consists of students of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Warsaw School of Economics. Since then they have been building an electric racing car for the Formula Student competition.

This fully electric car is one of the first of its kind in Poland. A car weighing 230 kg will be powered by an electric motor generating 80kW. Acceleration to 100 km / h should be reached within less than 4 seconds.

Formula Student is an international racing competition for university teams organized since 1979 by the Association of Automotive Engineers (Society of Automotive Engineers). Students from world leading universities design and complete a car to race on the most famous racetracks in the world after the testing phase.

Visitors can take a closer look at the car on 18 April in the Parachute Hall of the Warsaw School of Economics.
