Warsaw students win Global Online Marketing Academic Challenge

Students from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw havw won this year’s Global Online Marketing Academic Challenge (GOMAC).

Joanna Alberska and Paulina Figarska are studying e-business and Patrycja Polak is studying management at SGH. Dorota Trochimiak is a student of journalism and social communication at UKSW. The team was supervised by Dr Tymoteusz Doligalski from the Institute of Computer Science and Digital Economy at SGH. The team prepared a campaign for DEVMATCH, a young Polish company in the flexible IT recruitment sector. The campaign lasted five weeks and included activities in Google Ads and social media, as well as the creation and distribution of marketing content, reports Gazeta SGH.

GOMAC is a global competition aimed at students interested in online marketing. Teams, working with an industry client, compete in creating optimised and reported promotional campaigns using Google Ads, as well as other e-marketing tools.
