Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) from South Africa and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) signed a memorandum aimed at deepening scientific and educational cooperation between both universities.

Both universities benefited from the exchange of not only staff and students under the Erasmus + program, but also from ideas applicable in digital agriculture and nanotechnology. “We are currently exploring additional opportunities that will enrich our academic networks”, said Dr Vathi Papu-Zamxaka, Research and Innovation Manager at TUT, during the signing ceremony. On the part of WULS-SGGW, the memorandum was signed by Dr Marta Mendel, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at WULS-SGGW.

As part of the planned cooperation, TUT and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences want to undertake joint research projects, exchange doctoral scholarships, and are also considering joint master’s and doctoral studies.
