Scientists from 12 units of the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) (10 Faculties, and 1 each from the College in Płock and Cezamat) submitted 18 applications for funding in the competition IDUB against COVID-19. The competition budget has been increased to PLN 5 million.

The main goal of the IDUB against COVID-19 competition is to finance work on solutions for the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences.

Projects submitted to the competition could relate to both the area of ​​basic research and research and development works, or they could also be purely application projects aimed at preparing solutions intended for quick implementation in areas directly connected with the pandemic.

Due to the high scientific level of submitted projects, the Steering Committee of the IDUB project decided to increase the competition budget to PLN 5 million and expand the pool of applications for funding.
