Didactics, research and development – these are the areas in which joint projects will be carried out by Warsaw University of Technology (PW) and PKP Intercity. An agreement was signed by the Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, Professor Krzysztof Zaremba, and Jarosław Oniszczuk and Artur Resmer from the Management Board of PKP Intercity.

According to the Warsaw University, the plans include the organisation of internships, apprenticeships, practical classes and study visits for PW students. The cooperation also involves the creation of a new educational offer, including courses, trainings, dual and postgraduate studies, and even majors and specialisations.

The Warsaw University of Technology and PKP Intercity want to carry out joint scientific and research projects, prepare expert reports, organise conferences, seminars, workshops and symposia, and issue scientific and industry publications.

Various faculties of the Warsaw University of Technology will be involved in the cooperation, in particular the Faculty of Transport, which is closest to the subject.
