The European Ranking of Engineering Studies includes universities of 13 European countries. EngiRank was prepared by the Perspektywy Foundation in cooperation with the Foundation for the Development of the Education System – FRSE.
The university-wide ranking compared 81 universities of 13 countries (Poland, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Malta, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia). The authors used data obtained from 15 criteria grouped into five categories: scientific effectiveness (20%), innovation (35%), quality of education (20%), prestige (5%) and internationalization (20%).
The ranking topped Warsaw University of Technology and four Polish universities: AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków (2nd place), Łódź University of Technology and Wrocław University of Science and Technology (ex aequo 6th place) and the Military University of Technology in Warsaw (8th place).
