The Warsaw University of Technology (PW) received the IGNAC award from the Łukasiewicz Research Network for the most innovative partner in the “University” category.

PW was awarded for the largest number of projects (18) implemented together with the Łukasiewicz Research Network in 2021.

Their subject variety is diverse and includes space technologies, projects used in medicine or energy, technologies related to rail and air transport.

Warsaw University of Technology, together with the Łukasiewicz Research Network, also worked on lighting and sensor platforms, new generation biosensors or composite filtration materials for water purification.

The Łukasiewicz Research Network is one of the key partners for the Warsaw University of Technology. “This award is particularly important to us, it is a proof of strong relations between our organizations”, said Prof. Adam Woźniak Vice-Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology for Development.
