Warsaw University of Technology to launch Aerial Research Center

The Warsaw University of Technology is launching Aviation Research Center near Przasnysz. The university obtained PLN 33 million from EU funds for this project.

The project tender has already been completed for the construction of a two-storey laboratory of drones, composites and gluing workshops, CNC machine tools and 3D printing machines. It will also house a research and data processing center for measuring flights, a drone monitoring system, aircraft and propulsion laboratories, a measurement and computer-computing laboratory, as well as hangars for work on unmanned systems.

The start of construction works is planned for this year. The investment is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
