Warsaw University of Technology, represented by the Faculty of Physics, as the only Polish university joined the Graphene Project of the European Union implemented as part of the “New Technologies and Technologies of the Future” program.
The aim of the project is the effective use of research conducted at the highest level in innovative material solutions based on graphene and related materials. The project will last until 2023.
Warsaw University of Technology in September 2018 joined the project consortium, which consists of 158 partners from 23 European countries. For several years scientists of the Faculty of Physics have been conducting research on graphene and other sandwich materials in the field of new technologies of manufacturing, characterization and applications in electronics and other technical fields.
