The University of Opole has obtained over 100,000 PLN for the program of the National Academic Exchange Agency „Welcome to Poland”. The “Welcome to UO” activity includes training for university employees in the field of service and integration of foreign students and the translation of documents and regulations.

The university will also be enriched with information plates in English for better orientation of foreigners in the university. The library will receive a database of over 100,000 digital books of the disciplines in which foreign students are educated. Integration activities are also planned within the “Tastes of the World” program as a platform for presenting the cultures of students of several nationalities as well as within “International weekends” – meetings of employees and students in private homes.

In the academic year 2018/2019, about 100 foreigners from all over the world took up studies in English at the University of Opole, and as part of exchange programs, another 200 foreigners will come to the university.
