West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin receives a positive assessment of the Polish Accreditation Committee

The Polish Accreditation Commission, an independent institution working to improve the quality of higher education in Poland, received a positive rating to the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. The highest possible grade was given to the faculty of computer science for the high quality of computer science education.

The assessment covered design and implementation of the study program, application process, ways to verify learning outcomes achieved by students, experience and staff development, infrastructure and educational resources, cooperation with the socio-economic environment. The next program evaluation will take place in 2025/2026.

The Polish Accreditation Commission operates under the Act – Law on Higher Education and Science. Its task is to provide the minister with opinions on the fulfilment of the conditions of studies in a given field in terms of the level of education, educational profile and the relationship of studies with the university’s strategy.
