The Regional Covid-Hub project, jointly implemented by the Wielkopolska Voivodeship Government, the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Centre (PSNC), has qualified for the final of the DT4REGIONS Award competition. The winner will be determined by online voting, which will run until 19 May.

Implemented since the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic in Poland, the project has allowed the maximum use of existing resources to monitor the course of the pandemic, diagnose the disease and, above all, detect the virus. The platform is also a support for everyone involved in Covid-19 research and pandemic crisis management.

The DT4REGIONS award aims to highlight the best digital solutions, such as technology initiatives and applications based on artificial intelligence and Big Data, that are currently being used by public administrations in Europe.
