The Polish-American Fulbright Commission has published the list of laureates of the BioLAB 2023-24 programme, which is designed for master’s and doctoral students in biological, chemical, medical and related disciplines. 

As a result of the selection process, 48 students from Poland will complete a one-year internship at one of four renowned research centres in the US.

During the internship, students join research teams conducting projects in fields such as neurology, crystallography, virology or molecular genetics. 

The results of research conducted during the internship often become the basis for articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals such as “Nature”, “Proteins: Structure, Function, and Bioinformatics” or “Acta Crystallographica.” 

BioLAB Fellows and Scholars also take an active part in the life of an American university, attending seminars, guest lectures and learning about American culture.
