The Faculty of Geosciences and Spatial Management of the Maria Curie Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin invites participants on February 8, 2019 to celebrate the World Wetlands Day.

The event will be a series of open popular science lectures and workshops about the problems of wetlands. The University’s scholars, students and graduates of the Faculty and invited guests: Andrzej Różycki (Poleski National Park), Barbara Grzebulska (Regional Ecological Center) and Krzysztof Wojciechowski (Team of Lublin Landscape Parks) will provide participants with the issues related to wetland biodiversity, their protection, and the impact of wetlands.
