The Wrocław Technology Park and the Pro Mathematica Foundation are inviting students and science enthusiasts of all ages to the E(x)plory Regional Science Festival on October 16. The program includes lectures, scientific demonstrations and presentations of research projects participating in the E(x)plory Science Competition. The festival will be held on-line.
The festival attractions include a scientific demonstration about cryogenic gases and a robotics workshop, during which participants will create a hydraulic robot arm from cardboard boxes and syringes. The guests of the event will be Aleksandra and Piotr Stanisławskis, the authors of Crazy Nauka – the largest popular science blog in Poland, who will present conspiracy theories of the space.
20 projects will take part in the regional stage of the E(x)plory Science Competition – including “Healthy Chocolate” by high school student Martyna Fiałkowska and “Water Recovery System” – Adam Bajorek’s project aimed at minimizing drinking water consumption.
