Wrocław Technology Park to open Academic Box – space for Wrocław research clubs

11.02.2020

Wrocław Technology Park opened the Academic Box, which is a workshop hall for science clubs operating at Wroclaw universities. This is the first initiative of this type in Poland.

The modernized hall at ul. Fabryczna is offering a space in which students received eight boxes at their disposal, i.e. closed rooms resembling 20 sq m garages, and some space for their rest. The use of boxes is free, they are intended for use of the research clubs, which will receive the recommendation of the council for academic activity appointed by the board of the Wrocław Technology Park.

The Wrocław municipality announced the launch of a program of financial support for scientific clubs and other active student groups and organizations. The city will allocate approx. PLN 2 million to its implementation and the decision will be made within a competition procedure, in which applications will be specially assessed by a commission appointed for this purpose.
