Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences has been included in the group of 19 Polish universities, which received funding under the competition of the Minister of Science and Higher Education “Strategy of Excellence – University of Research”.

700 thousand PLN has been allocated for the project “BioSciUniversity”, which aims to improve the quality of university management, including the introduction of organizational changes, allowing to increase the international importance of the University’s activities.

The most important tasks of the project are raising the international recognition of the academic activity of the university by selecting Leading Research Teams, strengthening research cooperation with high-reputable research centers; improving the quality of education of students and PhD students, in particular on faculties and scientific disciplines related to priority research areas, and preparation of comprehensive solutions for the professional development of university staff.
