The University of Life Sciences in Wrocław (UPWr) will participate in three new international projects under the Interreg Central Europe Programme funded by the European Regional Development Fund – these are foodCIRCUS, Climate_CRICES and URBIO BAUHAUS.
The foodCIRCUS project is about circular solutions for reducing food waste in Central European schools, the Climate_CRICES project is about increasing the resilience of Central Europe to climate change, and the URBIO BAUHAUS project, coordinated by UPWr, is about tackling biodiversity reduction in urban and peri-urban areas in Central Europe.
Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE is a European Union funding initiative. It plays a key role in supporting coherent regional development in Central Europe and addressing common challenges, such as climate change or digital transformation, in a region historically divided by the ‘Iron Curtain’.
