Wrocław University of Science and Technology, local government authorities of Lower Silesia and Wrocław and the Western Chamber of Commerce are the initiators of the Macrocluster – Technologies in Public Safety. The main tasks of the new cluster are the development and implementation of innovative technologies supporting public safety.

The aim of the cluster is identifying critical areas and needs of public safety, creating new directions of technology development in public safety, connecting authors and suppliers with recipients of innovative public safety technologies, and initiating, applying and implementing joint research projects.

“The cluster brings together science, business and local governments, and all those entities that are responsible for making the lives of the inhabitants of Lower Silesia safer”, says the marshal of the Lower Silesia voiviodship Cezary Przybylski.
