Wrocław University of Science and Technology has become one of the leaders of Digital Innovation Hubs appointed by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology. The main task of new research units is to support entrepreneurs in digital transformation.
Technological solutions that will be the main areas of hub activity are connectivity in 5G technology, learning algorithms (Artificial Intelligence), including autonomous systems, Internet of Things, Building Information Modeling, cloud computing, augmented and virtual reality, automation and robotics, computer integrated production , cybersecurity and additive technologies of 3D printing.
Over the next two years, the hubs will carry out information and demonstration, training and consulting activities, which will allow to develop high standards of service provision by such centers. In this process, hubs will also build in-depth cooperation with the Future Industry Platform.
