The Welcome Center has been launched on the Campus at Grobla of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. It is a place for every foreign student, employee or guest who comes to the Wrocław university. The Center organizes meetings and workshops devoted to cultural differences, as well as trips around Wrocław and the surrounding area.

“We want this place to be vibrant with life and people from different countries to feel comfortable at our university. We run many programs with the participation of universities from almost all over the world, so we keep in touch with foreign guests”, says Anna Rogalska, the head of the International Cooperation Department of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

The Centre has announced a photo competition: “Wrocław in the lens of students of many cultures – SHOT! 2022 “. The participants’ task is to present the capital of Lower Silesia from their own view, showing non-obvious photos of the city through the prism of their own culture, sensitivity and aesthetics.
